Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd. has announced the launch of a new trade show specialising in advanced agricultural technology - "1st NEXT-GENERATION AGRICULTURAL EXPO TOKYO (AGRI NEXT)"
It will be held next October at Makuhari Messe international exhibition center together with Asia's leading international agricultural trade show - 4th Int'l Agricultural Material & Technology Expo Tokyo (AGRITECH JAPAN).

AGRITECH JAPAN is a B-to-B trade show specialising in agricultural materials and technologies such as fertilisers, pest control products, horticultural technologies, agricultural machinery etc. and has been successfully expanding every year.
With more players getting involved in the agricultural sector in Japan, there has been exceptional growth in 慛ext-Generation' exhibits, for instance; field information management system, solar modules for solar sharing (generating solar power on the same land as where they grow crops), remote controlled farm machinery etc.. Thus there is a need to create a separate show to accommodate such firms.
In addition to the rise in the number of players, as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is close to concluding the trade agreement, productivity and technological advancement of agriculture in Japan must rise to compete with imported produce. AGRI NEXT will therefore provide a platform for firms with 慛ext-Generation' products, technologies and services that will improve efficiency and growth of agricultural business in Japan.

Show Director, Fumimasa Doi envisions AGRI NEXT to be a great platform for agricultural business in Japan.

Spinoza has clearly explained the doctrine of animal automatism, and shown it to be perfectly conceivable;569 but he has entirely omitted to explain how the parallel influence of one thought (or feeling) on another is to be understood; for although this too is spoken of as a causal relation, it seems to be quite different from the logical concatenation described as the infinite intellect of God; and to suppose that idea follows from idea like movement from movement would amount to a complete materialisation of mind; while our philosopher would certainly have repudiated Mr. Shadworth Hodgson’s theory, that states of consciousness are only connected through their extended substratum, as the segments of a mosaic picture are held together by the underlying surface of masonry. Nor can we admit that Spinoza entertained the theory, now so popular, according to which extension and consciousness are merely different aspects of a single reality. For this would imply that the substance which they manifest had an existence of its own apart from its attributes; whereas Spinoza makes it consist of the attributes, that is to say, identifies it with their totality.
